The production of sheep dung into organic fertilizer is also very high in nutrients for soil and crops, which can improve soil quality and prevent soil compaction. Today I will share with you the production process of sheep manure organic fertilizer.
The first step in making sheep manure organic fertilizer is fermentation, and the two most used methods are compost fermentation and fermentation using fermentation equipment.
The first type: composting fermentation method
- Add starter to sheep manure, stir and mix starter and corn flour or bran in a ratio of 1:5, then add sheep manure with organic fertilizer mixer or manually mix and stir evenly.
- When building a pile, do not make it too small or too short, otherwise it will affect the fermentation. The pile height is 1.5 to 2 meters, the width is 2 meters, and the length is 2 to 4 meters. Follow this length, width, and height. It is advisable to build a pile.
- Suitable temperature. The starting temperature should be above 15℃. It is better to ferment indoors or in a greenhouse in winter.
- Moisture content, the moisture content of sheep manure fermentation materials should be controlled at about 65%. Too high or low is not conducive to fermentation, too little water, fermentation is slow; too much water will cause poor ventilation, slow heating, and produce odor. Method for adjusting the moisture content of the material: If the moisture content is too high, add straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder, etc. How to judge whether the moisture is suitable or not: Hold a handful of materials tightly, see the watermark on the fingers but not drip, it is advisable to disperse after landing.
- Turn the pile and ventilate. During the fermentation process, pay attention to proper oxygen supply and turn over (turn over several times when the temperature rises to 75°C or above), and control the temperature rise at about 65°C. Too high temperature will affect nutrients.
- The state of successful fermentation, the material is dark brown, and the temperature begins to drop to room temperature, indicating that the fermentation is complete. If you add too much sawdust, wood chips, and rice husks, the fermentation time should be appropriately extended until it is fully decomposed.
The second type: Use organic fertilizer equipment to make sheep manure organic fertilizer
Raw material selection (sheep dung, etc.) drying, sterilization, fermentation and crushing; mixing, granulating, cooling, coating, screening, metering and sealing, and finished product storage. The complete set of sheep manure organic fertilizer making equipment is mainly composed of fermentation system, drying system, deodorization and dust removal system, crushing system, batching system, mixing system, granulation system and finished product bagging system.
