Comparision of Extrusion Granulator and Rotary Drum Granulator

Extrusion granulator is a kind of organic fertilizer granulator which is used for the convenience of storage, transportation and application, combined with the working principle of feed granulator. Extrusion type organic fertilizer granulator can be divided into roller type organic fertilizer granulator, flat mold type organic fertilizer granulator, ring mold type organic fertilizer granulator, flat mold type organic fertilizer granulator and rolling type organic fertilizer granulator.

The granule produced by this type of granulator is relatively uniform, with high density, low moisture content, low bagging damage rate, simple drying in the later stage, and not strict requirements for crude fiber content of raw materials. The disadvantage is that the power consumption is high, there are certain technical requirements for operation and use, and the moisture content of raw materials is low.

Rolling granulator has a long history of development. It is a kind of organic fertilizer granulator improved according to common sense. The granulator has the advantages of simple structure, good pelletizing, high output and long service life. However, this kind of organic fertilizer granulator is selective for materials. It requires that the content of crude fiber is within a certain range, the moisture content of materials is higher than other granulators, and the later stage can only be bagged for storage and transportation after drying. The density of particles is small, and the bagging damage rate is high.

Bio organic fertilizer mainly comes from plants and animals. The main function of bio organic fertilizer applied to soil is to provide plant nutrition. After processing, the toxic and harmful substances are eliminated, and it is rich in a large number of beneficial substances. Why should we make the organic fertilizer into granules? What are the advantages compared with powder?

  1. Good water and fertilizer retention. As a commercial organic fertilizer, it takes a certain amount of time to store, transport and sell. Granular organic fertilizer is easier to maintain the nutrients of fertilizer.
  2. It is more convenient to apply than powder fertilizer. Some organic fertilizers are light in weight and easy to be dispersed by the wind when applied in the field.
